MIAMI, FL, May 09, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On April 25, Mitchell Panter, founding partner of Panter, Panter & Sampedro, P.A., became officially certified as a Civil Pretrial Practice Advocate by the National Board of Civil Pretrial Practice Advocacy. The Civil Pretrial Practice Advocacy is the newest division of the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification (NBLSC).

The NBLSC is a prestigious organization that recognizes attorneys throughout the country for excellence in their chosen field. While certification is individual and voluntary, fewer than 4% of all practicing lawyers are certified by an American Bar Association accredited or state sponsored certification board.

The National Board of Trial Advocacy, a division of the NBLSC, is dedicated to the identification of lawyers who possess an enhanced level of skill and expertise in trial advocacy, and have demonstrated integrity and dedication to the interests of their clients, thereby improving the professional competence of lawyers. In order to qualify for the certification, applicants are must meet a host of requirements. These include, but are not limited to, being in good standing, having practiced in the area for at least five years, demonstrating substantial involvement relevant to the specialty certification, and passing an examination.

"In addition to being Board Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy since March 1996, this new certification as a Civil Pretrial Practice Advocate is important to me as it stresses the work and dedication to the Pretrial Practice in which many cases are resolved prior to an actual trial," said Panter.
